Deja view for 2011's top domestic films

2011 was the initial year the very best seven domestic grossing films were franchise obligations, within the "Harry Potter" finale and "Transformers: Dark in the Moon" through "Fast Five" and "Cars 2." In the year's top, six films unspooled in 3d -- a format that saw mixed results in 2011. Still, 3d saw more commercial releases a year ago, with 36, in comparison to each other year (2010 bowed 22 3d game game titles). In 2012, 37 3d films are slated for release (or re-release).
